OVERVIEW

Mid-Atlantic, unhurried

The Azores sit alone in the Atlantic, a chain of volcanic islands where hydrangea hedges line the roads and the sea is never far away. This journey follows the best of São Miguel and Pico at a pace that leaves time to swim, taste and simply look.

You'll walk the rims of crater lakes, cook with a local family, head out with marine biologists to find whales and dolphins, and soak in thermal pools warmed by the earth itself. Every night is in a small, characterful stay chosen by our team.
